My Fav Five

There are several websites/blogs I visit regularly, two of them are Shutterbean.com and Joythebaker.com, both ladies are truly inspirational in cooking and photography! The two of them do a weekly podcast which I listen to when work is SLOW and I need something to make me smile and laugh. Last week they asked listeners to make a list of their five favourite things at the moment.

Here is my list!
1. Liberte Organic Yogurt - Strawberry

Ohhh baby. This yogurt is thick and creamy! On its own it feels like a treat, like dessert, but I also love adding it to smoothies or for breakfast with some granola and berries. SO YUMMY! Strawberry is my favourite flavour so far.

2. Klorane Brightening Creme Conditioner with Cammomile

I have been using this conditioner a few times a week for the past few months and have been loving it! I had blonde highlights put in back in October and using this conditioner on my hair a few times a week really helps to brighten them up and keep me from making an appointment to get more put in. It is good for colour treated and uncoloured blonde to dark blonde hair.

3. Nutiva Organic Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

I use Coconut Oil as my daily moisturizer and love it. It absorbs well and leaves my skin super soft. I have been reading a lot on how eating it can help with your skin, hair and overall health, so I have been adding it into my daily routine and eating about a tablespoon of it. Hopefully I'll see some results soon!

4. Burt's Bees Medicated Lip Balm with Eucalyptus Oil

This stuff saved my lips this winter. My lips wouldn't stop peeling and cracking and HURTING like crazy until I found this. I put it on morning and night after I brush my teeth and have noticed a huge difference. My lips are nice and smooth and haven't peeled in a long time. It smells a little like Vick's Vapor Rub which is a little off putting to me but if you can get past it, or enjoy that smell, then this is definitely worth a try!

5. Diva Cup
Ok, time for a TOO MUCH INFORMATION moment. I'll spare you all the details of why this is my all time most favourite product EVER.. yes EVER. This has changed 'that time of the month' for me forever. I hardly notice I have my period, seriously. If you can deal with how to put it in and take it out, you're golden. It's super easy, saves you a ton of money, saves from having to buy pads and tampons and stocking your purse with emergency supplies. There are two sizes depending on whether you've given birth or not. If you try one new thing this year - BUY THIS!!
